Mosaic Design is unique tool (modul in ePlusMenuCAD) for professional drawing single line diagrams and application schemes in AutoCAD. Simplicity and efficency are biggest advantages of Mosaic Design, which users see after short time working in it. Navigation in diagrams is very intuitive and easy like surfing through web pages in Internet Explorer.
Introduction
Mosaic Design has a large database of symbols and elements that may appear in single line diagram and application scheme. Database of symbols are constantly expanding and each of the next version is growing with more symbols. Creating a single scheme starts by choosing a template that will best suit for your needs, and which you will adjust as needed.
For insertovanje elements and complete electric feeders in panel (board), is responsible module InteLLi Elements. Inserting ALL feeders will be made in one click, for example. 50 standard el. feeders for supplyng power sockets or luminaires for lighting – they are all inerting at once, with automatic marking of all elements:
• circuit breaker labels (F1, F2, …)
• terminal labels (if you choose 3P feeder, 1-3, 4-6,…)
• electric current mark label (1, 2, 3…)
All other elements are automatically labeled:
• rotary switches
• contactors
• circuit breakers
• fuses
Technical specification for Bill of materials is generating by function Mosaic Collection which will collect all blocks with their informations. Generated report can be exported in MS Word.
Mosaic Design runs when you open one of his templates from default folder (new drawing). There are several offered templates that are copied during installation of ePlusMenuCAD in default folder with the templates. Now, all you have to do is to choose one template and Mosac Design module wll be automatically loaded, and you can use any command from the menu or a toolbar. You can also simply change existing template and make it as your own template .
Navigation in scheme
Mosaic Design has two toolbar, which can be switched on or off: Mosaic and Mosaic Navigation Tools. Navigation mosaic is responsible for navigation within the scheme.
All pages of single line diagram (SLD) has prefix in label J, and pages of application scheme (AS) prefix D, so when you press button J1 you will jump immidiately to page J1 of single line diagram. If you press button J… new small window will show up offering you to jump at any created or not-jet created pages in SLD. Same logic is used for navigation of AS pages, with difference of prefix D.
This method of navigating through SLD and AS of switchgear is very simple and shema becomes rood for review and all pages very accessible. Changes in the shema is pain-free, because deleting some elements, such as switches, or the entire feeders, you can remark all elements in entire schema.

Plotting electric scheme in Mosaic Design is done using this function. You can choose what you want to plot: all pages of SLD, all pages of AS, only first pages…
If you are in Mosaic Design template iNteLLi Batch Plot, with the shortcut command “MP” run Intel Plot window, and it is now possible to print unlimited Mosaic Design electric scheme, and other NON-mosaic drawings. It takes only selecting the folder where are all the drawings you want to plot. Subfolders are supported. In this way, it is possible to let the plot over 1000 pages scheme for only 30 minutes. Everything else is on the printer that plot hours after the sending schemes to plotter.
iNteLLi™ SaveAs
Every page of Mosaic Design electric scheme can be saved in separate page in drawing. Function InteLLi SaveAs will convert each page of Mosaic Design scheme, rename it and save it on standard DWG drawing.
